New Delhi: As the buzz around the creative duo ‘Rafuchakkar’ behind the show grows, Arjun and Kartik have been all praise for its lead stars Maniesh Paul and Priya Bapat.
Both said that Priya worked with a team of lawyers for more than a month. “These were intense sessions where he showed her how a lawyer prepares for a trial. He introduced her to the legal terminology used in arguments and also explained what is proper court conduct. He also coached her to adopt the right body language. The duo said that this entire training process lasted for more than two hours every day for a month and Priya was totally committed to it.
Priya also participated in some real life trials and witnessed how the court proceedings begin and the lawyers rush to win the arguments. Arjun and Kartik say, “Priya is a fabulous actor and no matter what role she plays, she is always believable and gets into the skin of her character. He has done the same in ‘Rafuchakkar’. As a flamboyant lawyer who is always one step ahead of everyone else, her strong dialogue delivery and presence bring great substance and style to the show.
In the trailer of Rafuchakkar, Manish Paul’s portrayal of Rajkumar, a con man, follows his journey. There are five different incarnations of Manish, making him essentially unrecognizable in each one. The program promises drama, suspense and lots of fun.
Rafuchakkar, directed by Ritam Srivastava, stars Manish Paul, Priya Bapat and others. Jio Cinema will start telecasting it from June 15, 2023.
