CPI(M) deputy did not fulfill his dream – India Times Hindi News – Henry Club

Raised a lot of hope. But the dream of CPI-M’s young Turkish Upanitha Pandey could not be fulfilled. Ward 49 is occupied by Trinamool Congress. Monalisa Banerjee won by about 45 per cent votes.

Ward 49 Counting Result:

  • BJP has slipped to third place. Only 10 percent votes.
  • Upanitha didn’t do badly the first time. Got 15 percent of the vote. He became third.
  • Congress’s Aamna Khanum was at number two. He got 25 percent of the vote.
  • Trinamool candidate Monalisa won. He got about 45 percent of the vote.
  • CPI(M) candidate Upanitha is behind.
  • Trinamool candidate Monalisa was initially leading in Ward No 49. Upanita, a post graduate student in the comparative department of Jadavpur University and CPIM candidate, is lagging behind.
  • This time the CPI(M) has nominated young Turkish Upanita Pandey in ward no. He is the youngest candidate in this year’s Kolkata Poornima election. Trinamool Congress has given ticket to Monalisa Banerjee, who entered student politics. Rajalakshmi Biswas and Aamna Khanum have represented BJP and Congress respectively.
