covid latest news: A US scientist working in China’s Wuhan lab has claimed that COVID-19 was a man-made virus that leaked from the facility.
According to a New York Post report, Andrew Huff, a former scientist at the Wuhan lab, said in a statement that two years ago, covid was leaked from the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV), a government research center.
Epidemiologist Andrew Huff has claimed in his latest book ‘The Truth About Wuhan’ that the pandemic was caused by the US government’s funding of coronaviruses in China, according to excerpts from the book published in UK-based tabloid The Sun.
The report states that the scientist has claimed that China’s gain-of-function experiments were conducted with insufficient security, resulting in the leak at the Wuhan lab.
This is not the first time that China’s Wuhan lab is at the center of controversy over the spread of coronavirus across the world in 2019.
So far during the pandemic, many scientists, researchers have claimed that Covid actually leaked from Wuhan.
