Also, patients with mild to moderate diseases are recovering faster. The rate of recovery also has an effect on low bed occupancy. Treatment in hospitals in the last two days covid Patients have discharged 445 cases after making full recovery.
Treating doctors said the number of hypoxic patients requiring treatment was “very low compared to very mild and asymptomatic patients”. Presently 7,383 patients are seeking care at their homes.

“At the current capacity of over 85,000 beds, we have reserved or commissioned 43,332 beds for COVID patients in hospitals across the district. This includes hospitals in the municipal areas and rural parts of Pune and Pimpri chinchwad. We can increase the number of reserved beds if needed,” he said.
Hospitals in Pune have registered a marginal increase in the admission of Covid cases. “In the last two weeks, our hospital has registered an increase of about 10% in the admission of Covid patients. Dr Sudhir Patsute, infectious disease specialist at Naidu Hospital, said, “We have seen in the last two waves that the initial surge shows comparatively more mild or asymptomatic cases. But as the wave progresses, we need to see more patients with severe disease need to be hospitalized. ,
