The Maharashtra government on Monday further relaxed the Covid-induced restrictions in the state, allowing people below 18 years of age to visit malls on production of valid age proof. The state government has already allowed fully vaccinated people to visit shopping malls which can remain open till 10 pm on all days.

“Since vaccination has not yet started for people below the age of 18 years, they need to show their age proof documents like Aadhar card, PAN card issued by Income Tax Department, valid school or college identity card with date mention of birth at the mall’s entry point, “A Government Order (GO) issued under “Break the Chain” guidelines.
