BHUBANESWAR: The government will develop three types of prefab infrastructure — six, 20 and 50-bedded care centers — across the state to deal with possible COVID-related exigencies in future.

Out of the total sanctioned amount, about Rs 140 crore will be spent on construction of prefab structures. The Center had released 15 per cent of the total fund in July, which will be released in instalments.
MoHFW has asked the state to ensure that the funds released under ECRP-II are utilized before March 31 and spent only for project related activities. The state is also required to send monthly physical and financial progress reports on the utilization of funds to the central ministry.
