THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state government has decided to continue with the Sunday lockdown till February 6 and a decision on whether to enforce the lockdown on February 13 too will be taken after reviewing the pandemic situation in the state.
The decision to extend the Sunday lockdown for one more week was taken at the Covid review meeting chaired by chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Monday. The Sunday lockdown is being continued for one more week following reports that the state will continue to witness more cases next week as well.

The classifications made for the districts based on the hospital admissions and its restrictions will continue.
