The Center today announced that the COVID-19 booster dose will now be available to all people above the age of 18 years in private hospitals from April 10.
All those who are 18 years of age or older and who have completed nine months of taking the second dose will be eligible for a booster dose.
During this, the ongoing free vaccination program for the first and second doses as well as precautionary doses through government vaccination centers will continue.
