Currently, the world is dealing with a new type of coronavirus which has led to a rise in cases across the globe. In India alone, over 2.40 lakh COVID positive cases were reported, most of which were caused by Omicron variants. Data collected from around the world shows that in addition to these three typical symptoms of the original strain, Omicron can also cause some unusual symptoms.
According to UK researchers, only 50 per cent of all tested positive for COVID-19 develop the classic three symptoms. In addition, only a fifth of people diagnosed with COVID now have problems with smell and taste.
