Coronavirus News Live Updates: According to the data shared by the health department here, Delhi recorded 94 fresh COVID-19 cases and seven more deaths on Sunday, while the positivity rate stood at 0.13 per cent. The national capital has recorded 14,34,554 COVID-19 cases since the pandemic began last year. So far more than 14.08 lakh patients have been cured. The death toll is 24,995. According to official data, Delhi recorded 86 cases and five deaths on Saturday with a positivity rate of 0.11 per cent.

Coronavirus cases in India continued to decline as the daily tally of infections rose to 43,071 in the last 24 hours, taking the total tally to 3,05,45,433. The death toll rose to 4,02,005 after 955 people died of the disease, the Union Health Ministry said. India’s active cases have also declined further to 10,183 and it is now 485,350. Whereas, 52,299 people were cured, taking the total number of cured people to 29,658,078. On the vaccination front, the cumulative number has crossed the 35 crore mark. While the overall is falling, several states including Maharashtra, Kerala are still seeing a jump in daily cases amid fears of a possible third wave.

Meanwhile, after 1.6 lakh COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in Delhi in the last 24 hours, the national capital has 2 days of stock left, says Delhi government. There are 2,68,000 doses of Covaxin left, compared to 2,10,000 for Covishield. “As on July 2, 1,60,738 vaccines were administered, of which 1,30,487 people received their first dose and 30,251 people received their second dose,” the vaccination bulletin said.
