India’s COVID chart showed improvement on Friday, with the country reporting 45,352 cases, a 36% drop from Thursday. According to the health ministry, around 366 deaths were recorded during this period. Active cases account for 1.22% of the total cases.
Maharashtra saw a slight drop in new infections with 4,342 in 24 hours.
The cumulative COVID-19 vaccine doses administered in the country crossed the 67 crore mark on Friday. India is running the biggest vaccination campaign against coronavirus since January 16 this year.
