The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Saturday said that India reported 42,766 new COVID-19 cases and 1,206 deaths in the last 24 hours.
This is the 32nd consecutive day when less than one lakh new cases of corona virus have been reported in India.
Active cases have now come down to below 5 lakh. The country currently has 4,55,033 active cases and a total of 4,07,145 deaths so far.
