Coronavirus India Update: The national recovery rate currently stands at 98.10 percent.

India on Sunday reported its lowest daily increase in Covid cases since the beginning of March with 14,146 fresh infections. The country recorded 144 deaths due to coronavirus, taking the total death count to 4,52,124.
The number of active cases has come down to 1,95,846 and is 0.57 percent of the total infections.
The national COVID-19 recovery rate was recorded at 98.10 per cent, the highest since March 2020. The total number of cured people in India rose to 3,34,19,749 after 19,788 were cured in the last 24 hours.
The daily positivity rate – the number of positive cases identified per 100 – stands at 1.29 per cent, down from 3 per cent for the past 48 days. The weekly positivity rate in India is 1.42 percent.
A total of 11,00,123 tests were conducted on Saturday, taking the cumulative tests conducted so far in the country to 59,09,35,381.

Active COVID-19 cases reduced to nearly 6,000 in Andhra Pradesh even as the state added 432 new positives on Sunday.

Haryana reported 15 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday, taking the number of infections to 7,71,076.

Coronavirus Live Updates: 205 fresh COVID-19 cases, 6 deaths reported in Assam
A total of 205 fresh COVID-19 infections, 245 recoveries and six deaths have been reported in Assam in the last 24 hours. According to the state health department, the cumulative caseload has now reached 6, 06, 468. This includes 5950 active cases. The north-eastern state has recorded 5,97,082 recoveries so far. The death toll in the state is 5,950.
