Glenmark Company of Mumbai has launched Nasal Spray for the treatment of Corona patients. It has been made in collaboration with Canadian pharmaceutical company SaNOtize. This medicine containing nitric oxide is named Febispray. There was a 94% reduction in viral load in 24 hours and a 99% reduction in 48 hours after its use.

Completed Phase 3 Test in India. DCGI has given permission for production and marketing of Glenmark with its emergency use.

Virus can kill in 2 minutes
The company claims that when nitric oxide nasal is sprayed onto the nasal mucus, it forms a physical and chemical barrier against it. This prevents the virus from spreading to the lungs. NONS is effective in killing 99.9% of SARS-Cov-2 virus with alpha, beta, gamma, delta and epsilon variants within 2 minutes.

Apart from India, Fabispray is also being supplied in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Nepal, Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Vietnam.

Anchoring Phase 3, Double Blind, Placebo Control Trial Result

On the results of the clinical trials, Dr. Monica Tandon, Head of Clinical Development of the company said that the results of Phase 3, double blind, placebo control trial have been encouraging.
