Corona has once again started scaring the country. For the last one week, more than four thousand cases are being reported in the country. According to a report, there was a 36% increase in new cases of corona last week. At the same time, on Saturday, a total of 4249 patients reported positive, 2612 patients were cured, while 15 patients died. Earlier on Friday, there were 3945 new cases. In a way, on Saturday, 7% of the cases of Kovid in the country increased.

So far 4.31 crore people have been infected in the country due to the epidemic. 4.26 crore patients were cured, while 5.24 lakh patients lost their lives.

Kerala-Maharashtra raised concern
The increasing speed of Corona rising in Kerala and Maharashtra has made people worried. Kerala alone received 1465 new cases in the last 24 hours, 7 died. While 667 patients have been cured. The positivity rate in Kerala was recorded at 9.87%. There are currently 7427 active cases in Kerala.

At the same time, Maharashtra is once again slowly coming under the grip of Corona. Here on Saturday 1357 patients were found positive, 595 patients were cured. Thankfully only one patient died. Total active cases 5888 were recorded in Maharashtra. Here, in view of the increasing case of corona, the Maharashtra government has made it compulsory to apply masks in the state. In the meeting on Corona last Friday, CM Uddhav Thackeray had also indicated strict restrictions in the coming time if the cases increase.

On Friday, 405 new cases were reported in Delhi, while 384 people were cured. The good news is that there has not been a single death. Now 1,467 infected people are being treated here. So far more than 19 lakh people have been infected in Delhi. 26 thousand 212 have lost their lives. The overall positivity rate in the capital was recorded at 2.07%.

CORBEVAX Booster Dose Approved
The Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) has approved the CORBEVAX vaccine as a corona booster dose. People over the age of 18 who have taken either Covishield or both doses of Covaccine can now take CORBEVAX as a booster dose in the event of an emergency.
