Corona in the country: 36028 new patients identified, 39828 cured; For the third consecutive day when more patients were cured than new patients

There has been a slight decrease in the cases of corona in the country in the last 24 hours. On Sunday, 36,028 new patients were found, 39,828 were cured and 447 infected lost their lives. This was the third consecutive day when more patients were cured than new patients. Earlier on August 6, 38,705 patients were found and 40,026 were cured. On 7 August, 39,068 cases came and 43,935 were recovered.

It is also a matter of relief that the number of new patients is the lowest in the last 14 days. Earlier on July 26, the corona report of 30,820 people came positive. Cases have come down in Kerala too. Here on Sunday, the corona report of 18,607 patients was positive, 20,108 were cured and 93 died. A day before this, 20,367 cases had come here.

There are restrictions like complete lockdown in 8 states of the country. These include West Bengal, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Mizoram, Goa and Puducherry. Strict restrictions have been imposed here as in the previous lockdown.

Partial lockdown in 23 states/UTs
There is a partial lockdown in 23 states and union territories of the country. There are exemptions along with restrictions here. These include Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Kerala, Bihar, Delhi, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Assam, Manipur, Tripura, Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat is included.

1. Kerala
On Sunday, 18,607 people were found infected here. 20,108 people were cured and 93 people died. So far 35.52 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 33.57 lakh people have been cured, while 17,747 people have died. Presently 1.76 lakh patients are undergoing treatment.

2. Maharashtra
On Sunday, 5,508 people were found infected here. 4,895 people were cured and 151 people died. So far 63.53 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 61.44 lakh people have been cured, while 1.33 lakh people have died. At present, 71,510 patients are undergoing treatment.

3. Delhi
66 people were found corona positive in Delhi on Sunday. During this 95 people were cured. So far 14.36 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 14.11 lakh people have been cured, while 25,066 patients have died. 536 patients are being treated here.

4. Uttar Pradesh
56 people were found infected here on Sunday. During this 49 people were cured. So far, more than 17.08 lakh people have been infected in the state. Of these, 16.85 lakh have been cured, while 22,773 patients have died. 593 patients are being treated here.

5. Gujarat
On Sunday, 25 people were found corona positive in the state. 14 patients recovered. So far, about 8.25 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 8.14 lakh people have been cured, while 10,077 patients have died. Treatment of 207 infected is going on right here.

6. Madhya Pradesh
10 new cases were reported here on Sunday and 18 patients were cured. So far 7.91 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 7.81 lakh people have been cured, while 10,514 people died. 148 patients are currently undergoing treatment.

7. Rajasthan
On Sunday, 15 people were found corona infected here. During this 15 patients were cured. So far 9.53 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 9.44 lakh people have been cured, while 8,954 patients have died. Presently 237 patients are undergoing treatment.
