The vaccination has been intensified in Mumbai amid the ever-increasing cases of infection in the state.
For the second consecutive day, more than 40 thousand infected patients have been reported in Maharashtra. 41,434 corona cases have been reported in 24 hours. The deaths of 13 patients have also been recorded during this period. Amidst the frightening pace of infection, new restrictions have been imposed in the state. The new rules will come into effect from 12 noon on January 10. Although the government has not imposed any restriction on the travel of Mumbai local train at present, but schools and colleges in the state have been closed till February 15. Along with this, coaching classes have also been stopped.
According to the new guideline
- Night curfew will be applicable across the state from 11 pm to 5 am.
- A maximum of 50 people will be able to attend the wedding ceremony and a maximum of 20 people will be able to attend the funeral.
- A maximum of 50 people will be able to participate in social, religious and political programs.
- Public grounds, gardens and tourist places have been closed in the state.
- Amusement parks, museums, zoos have been closed.
- Orders have also been given to close swimming pools, spas, beauty salons and gyms in the state.
- Hair cutting salons will open with only 50 per cent capacity. These salons will have to be closed from 10 pm to 7 am.
- Theaters and private offices can be opened only with 50 percent capacity.
9761 people recovered on Saturday
At present, 1 lakh 73 thousand 238 corona patients are being treated in Maharashtra. On Saturday, 9,671 people recovered and went home.
More than 20 thousand infected surfaced in Mumbai for the third consecutive day
In the last 24 hours, 20,318 cases of corona have been reported in Mumbai. This is the third consecutive day, when the number of infected in Mumbai has crossed 20 thousand.
