Control Panel: Microsoft takes more settings out of Control Panel in latest update to Windows 11 – Times of India

Microsoft trying to dismantle the traditional control Panel by gradually moving the options to the new Adjustment Since the launch of the app, windows 8. The company has since moved many settings with the latest build windows 11Microsoft has moved a few more options from the Control Panel to the Settings app.
The company has revealed the changes with the release notes for Windows 11 Build 22509. As a part of the new so-called Alimin Control Panel, the company has now moved the advanced sharing settings options to the Settings app.
The move includes options such as network discovery, file and printer sharing, public folder sharing, and more. These options can be found in the Settings app under Advanced network settings.
The company has also specified that the network and device settings option in the Control Panel will now automatically redirect users to the new respective settings page.
The Control Panel has long been an integral part of the Windows ecosystem. The Legacy option has not changed for a long time and it is most common for users to find the necessary settings and other options.
While development in the Settings app has been slow, it is good to see that Microsoft is finally making efforts to streamline the app with all the important features and options.
For those unaware, Windows 11 brings an updated Settings page with more streamlined and well-crafted menu options.
