Speaking at a public gathering on Saturday, Pakistan’s former prime minister Imran Khan claimed that a conspiracy to kill him was being hatched in Pakistan and abroad.

Further, he said he was aware who had planned the assassination. “I have recorded a video in which I have mentioned everyone’s name. If I am killed, this video will be made public,” he said.

In April, before he was ousted from power, Imran Khan had said he had creditable information that his life was in danger.

Cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan was voted out of power last month through a no-confidence motion in Pakistan’s National Assembly, which he alleged was masterminded by the US with the help of local players.

Since then, Khan has held several public rallies in different cities of Pakistan, labeling the new government as “traitors and corrupt rulers”.
