“Every feature of NEP 2020 is aimed at destroying the basic structure of the Constitution, especially federalism and social justice,” it said.

In its resolution, the Congress also expressed deep concern over the “massive” increase in unemployment.

The party alleged that the Modi government’s recent decision to launch the Agniveer scheme has taken away opportunities from the hands of lakhs of Indian youth to serve the nation.

“We demand that the army be brought back to the old recruitment schemes where permanent jobs can be given to the youth who are willing to serve the country,” the resolution said.
