Let us see if he gets the same position and respect in another party,” said Niranjan, who has been facing rebellion and discontent within the party since its defeat in the 2019 elections.
Congress MLA from Jaipur and Manjhi’s staunch opponent Tara Prasad Bahinipati said Manjhi’s resignation will not affect the party. “Majhi and his close aide Kulesika were involved in anti-party activities. Fearing disciplinary action, he left the party. It is good for the party that such rebels are gone.”
