After the Aam Aadmi Party, now the Congress has also been accused of selling tickets. Punjab Medium Industrial Development Board chairman and Taksali Congressman Amarjit Singh Tikka has distanced himself from the party making such allegations. He had applied to contest elections from Atmanagar and South. Without taking names, Tikka said that a chopper was sought from her on rent for campaigning for the top Congress leader in Uttar Pradesh. He was called by a big leader and told that the ticket has been put on hold and for this he will have to send trains.

Tikka said that a similar demand was made from Navjot Singh Sidhu and he got the money from Sidhu Musewala. Not only this, funding was also given for the ticket of Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi. Tikka said that the high command destroyed the Congress and they stampeded it by selling tickets in Punjab. Amrik Singh Dhillon, Bitti, Bains brothers were given lost candidates.

Amarjit Singh Tikka has written in his resignation letter to party President Sonia Gandhi that his family is associated with the party for the last 37 years. His fourth generation is working for Congress. Grandfather Justice Harnam Singh Bindra worked with Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, father Jodh Singh Bindra worked with Indira Gandhi. Father, he himself and his nephew are also working with Congress. It has to be said with a sad heart that the party is destroying the leadership of the second level and the high command is losing its trust. Therefore it has been decided that he resigns from all posts and membership of the party.
