Discord within the Congress in Uttarakhand came to the fore on Wednesday with Harish Rawat hitting out at the party, alleging that they were not being allowed to work independently on preparations for next year’s assembly elections.
Meanwhile, sources told India Today that state in-charge Devendra Yadav has been instructed to defuse the situation before the BJP tries to create an uproar. However, the leader could not be contacted by Harish Rawat.
