Rahul Gandhi Srinagar visit: Sources said that Congress leader and Lok Sabha member Rahul Gandhi will visit Srinagar on Wednesday (February 15) on a personal visit. Rahul Gandhi, who was scheduled to visit Varanasi on Tuesday (February 14), had to return to Delhi as his flight could not land at the Varanasi airport.

Congress sources said Rahul Gandhi would leave for Gulmarg ski resort soon after reaching Srinagar. “He is likely to spend a few days in Gulmarg during his personal visit. Former chief minister Omar Abdullah is likely to stay with Rahul during his vacation in Gulmarg,” sources said.

The Congress has alleged that the airport authorities did not allow Rahul Gandhi’s plane to land at the Varanasi airport. Congress leader Ajay Rai has alleged that the airport authorities did not give permission due to pressure and they used President Draupadi Murmu’s visit as an ‘excuse’.
