Allotment canceled 9 years ago, bungalows were to be vacated in 2013
According to an old RTI, their allotment was canceled on June 26, 2013 by the Directorate of Estates under the Ministry of Urban Development. Congress was given land in 2010 to build an office building in Delhi. Congress was to get the building constructed within three years of the land allotment and four bungalows were to be vacated in 2013. The Congress Committee had requested for three years extra time to stay in these bungalows.

Notice was sent to Congress again in 2017. The Modi government had sent several notices to vacate the bungalows. These bungalows are still with the Congress. Despite their rent being much less than the market rate, Congress has not been able to pay it.

BJP's Digital Marketing Consultant from Mumbai Suresh Nakhua, while sharing the copy of RTI on social media, wrote – Antonia Maino aka Sonia Gandhi had talked a lot about the payment of tickets for migrant workers. At least the rent of the house would have been paid, which is pending for one and a half years.
