Congress attacker on free electricity in Punjab: State head Vading said – truth will be known after the conditions; Now PSPCL has to survive somehow

In Punjab, 300 units of free electricity to every household has become the Congress attacker. Congress state president Amarinder Singh Raja Vading has targeted the government. He said that the truth of CM Bhagwant Mann’s 300 units of free electricity will be tested after its details and conditions come to the fore. Vading also called Powercom (PSPCL) best of luck in a sarcastic tone.

Vading said that now Powercom has to survive somehow. This is because the burden of free electricity will fall on Powercom. At the same time, many government departments are not paying the electricity bills and the government itself is also not paying crores of rupees of subsidy.

In fact, free electricity was announced by AAP’s convener Arvind Kejriwal when the government was formed in Punjab. He had said that 300 units of free electricity would be given to every house. However, if the power units become 301 then the full bill will have to be paid. There is also confusion about whether these 300 units are for one month or for 2 months. This is because the electricity bill in Punjab comes after 2 months. By then people would have had more than 300 units. Though AAP leaders are claiming that people will get 600 units of electricity for 2 months. At present, everyone is waiting for the formal announcement of Bhagwant Mann.
