There has been a tussle between the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Punjab over the issue of education. Punjab Education Minister Pargat Singh has accepted the open debate challenge of Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia. Pargat also said that this debate will not be on 10 but on 250 schools.

Manish Sisodia had said that he challenges Pargat Singh to do a joint tour of 10 schools in Delhi. Whose list we will give them. Those who have been groomed in 5 years. Similarly, he will also visit 10 schools in Punjab. In response, Pargat said that I welcome his suggestion.

We will also compare the number of children enrolled in government schools of Delhi and Punjab in the last four and a half years.

Pargat said that it should also be seen whether crores were spent on 10 schools just for show off or hundreds of government schools were given grants to facilitate lakhs of students.
