Information sharing of students demanding to wear hijab
According to reports, the girls whose personal information is being shared on social media are the same students who had demanded to wear hijab in class for the first time. Since then, there has been a controversy in Karnataka regarding the hijab. The dispute started on January 1. Then 6 Muslim girl students in Udupi were barred from sitting in the class room in the college for wearing hijab. The college management had cited the new uniform policy as the reason.

Furious demonstration in college, then the matter reached the court
There was also a fierce demonstration in the college of Karnataka regarding the hijab. Here a girl wearing a hijab was shouting slogans and on the other hand saffron-clad boys were shouting Jai Shri Ram. After this, the girl students filed a petition in the Karnataka High Court. The girls argue that not allowing them to wear the hijab is a violation of their fundamental right under Articles 14 and 25 of the Constitution.
