Swara also compared Hindutva with extremism. She wrote on Twitter, “We can’t recover from Hindutva terror & all shocked & devastated by Taliban terror .. & we can’t calm down from #Taliban terror & then about #Hindutva terror (sic) I can all be angry! Our human and moral values ​​should not be based on the identity of the oppressor or the oppressed.”

Since August 17, Swara’s post was retweeted by many, while many expressed their opposition in the comments. With this tweet, a resident of Kolkata lodged a complaint with the Cyber ​​Cell of Kolkata Police. Kolkata Police did not want to comment on the allegations and is probing the matter.
