Comedian Sunil Pal recently made headlines for insulting actor Manoj Bajpayee by calling him a ‘fallen man’ in a video that went viral on social media. He also called Manoj ‘Badtameez’ and compared the blockbuster web series The Family Man to ‘porn’.
“Manoj Bajpayee kitna hi bada actor hoga, kitne hi bade awards mile, par usse zyada badtameez aur gira hua aadmi maine nahi dekha (Although Manoj Bajpayee is a big and how many ever prestigious awards he has won, I have never seen a more ill -manned and immoral man),” he can be heard saying in the viral video.
And now Bajpayee has reacted to the same, while talking to Hindustan Times, Manoj suggested that the comedian should meditate to tackle unemployment. “I understand people don’t have jobs. I totally get it. I’ve been in this situation. But people in this kind of situation should meditate.”The website quoted the actor.
This is not the first time Sunil Pal is in the limelight for the wrong reasons, earlier in May when the country was battling the second wave of coronavirus, Sunil faced heavy criticism on social media for making derogatory remarks against doctors .
After seeing the purported video first seen by Chairman Dr Sudhir Naik on April 20, the Andheri police registered an FIR against Sunil on a complaint lodged by Dr Sushmita Bhatnagar, President, Association of Medical Consultants (Mumbai). In his controversial video, Sunil called the doctors ‘thieves’ wearing ‘demon suits’. However, he later apologized for his remarks.
