Colorful characters: TV celebs share their Holi 2022 celebration plans

new Delhi: TV actors have decided to splash colors in their own way to celebrate Holi. Playing a safe Holi is important for some and others have planned parties or decided to enjoy only with close family members.

Popular TV celebs shared their Holi plans for this year and what makes this festival special for them. They also share tips on playing safe Holi.

Zain Imam of ‘Fana Ishq Mein Marjawan’ shared: “Holi is such a festival that has been an integral part of our childhood. When I was little, I used to love playing with water balloons. I used to play with colours. I use only organic ‘gulal’. As my friends and family I am very cautious to celebrate the festival with safety. I wish everyone a happy and safe Holi!”

Actor Himanshu Soni has some different plans this year to enjoy the festival of colours. He wants to celebrate with the cast of his show and is keen to attend Holi events.

He says: “This year, I will participate in Holi events and play with my star cast of ‘Agar Tum Na Hota’ to celebrate the occasion. Everyone should always play Holi with herbal colors and to save Adequate amount of coconut oil should be applied. Skin from any reaction due to colours. I always try to play eco-friendly Holi.”

The actor shares recalling his childhood days: “I still remember when I was a kid, I used to make water balloons and celebrate Holi with my family. After playing with colours, I used to play with my friends. Used to travel together on bike or bike. Cars playing peppy songs.”

Actress Kamna Pathak has a deep connection with this festival and her hometown Madhya Pradesh. She calls it the land of celebration and shares what her plans are and how Holi is celebrated in her place.

Kamna says: “Madhya Pradesh is the land of celebration, and Holi celebrations here last for two days. On the first day, bonfires are organized by various temples. On the second day, the real fun begins when people bid goodbye to winter. and welcome the new season by coloring each other with colors and distributing sweets like gujiyas and laddoos.

The ‘Happu Ki Ultan Paltan’ actress adds: “The traditional tunes of singing, dancing and drums add to the gaiety of the occasion. Five days after Holi, Rang Panchami is celebrated by the tribal community of the state. I visit my hometown. Puja, and I enjoy celebrating Holi with my family and friends based in Madhya Pradesh.”

On the other hand, Joyshree Arora dislikes playing Holi with wet colours. She says, “I like Holi as a festival but I don’t like playing with wet colors.”

Joyshree shares some memories from her childhood days: “My fondest memories of Holi are from my childhood when we used to color with Palash flowers. I really like organic colours, they are very gentle on the skin. It was a lot of fun shooting for Holi on the sets of ‘Sab Satrangi’. I make my own sweets and being a Bengali, I love gujiyas, shakar pare and doodpuli This year, I am planning to make Baloo Shahi for my family.”

“Kaamna” actress Chandni Sharma expressed her excitement as this year she will celebrate the festival the same way she used to celebrate earlier.

“For the past few years, we have eagerly waited to celebrate Holi as usual. Thankfully, this year we will once again get very close to those memories! I look forward to meeting both of my friends, Reel and .real family and celebrating the festival of Holi.”

Holi comes with mixed feelings for actor Vijayendra Kumeria. As there is fun and frolic at a time but he also remembers the celebration of his school days.

“My best memories of the festival, still, are the good old school days when we used to play Holi with school friends after class. It is really memorable to remember how we would dress in an old uniform after playing – No one has changed it, and I really miss those beautiful days,” concludes the ‘Mose Chal Ke Jaye’ actor.
