New Delhi: A Twitter user said that he bought Starbucks coffee from Zomato while sitting in the same coffee shop and got it for half the price. Sandeep Mall claimed that he bought coffee worth Rs 400 from a Starbucks shop on Zomato and got it for just Rs 190.

He wrote, ‘ Coffee 400 rupees while sitting at Starbucks. 190 off on the same coffee at Zomato. Placed Zomato order with Starbucks address. The Zomato guy picks me up and takes me to my table at Starbucks. It turned Twitter into a frenzy. Mall’s tweet got 1.1 million views and 10,000 likes.

One of the users challenged the mall to reveal the screenshot of the Zomato bill or it did not happen. The mall provided the photo of the required bill. “For all those who think this tweet is a fabrication or a story – eat mentos, ring your brain bell,” he added. According to the bill, he ordered Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew and made a bill of Rs 200.
