With the Punjab Assembly elections approaching, the issue of sacrilege of Sri Guru Granth Sahib, shooting related to it and drugs has started heating up. Charanjit Channi, who reached Kotkapura for the first time after becoming CM, claimed that Badal is responsible for all this. He said that the matter is in the court, so I will not tell much but they will definitely get punishment.

This point of CM Channi is important because the Special Investigation Team (SIT) is investigating the sacrilege and firing. The report of which is yet to come. At the same time, the report of the Special Task Force (STF) in the matter of drugs is sealed in the High Court.

CM Channi did not spare the Badal family even on agricultural reform laws. He said that earlier he enacted the Contract Farming Act in Punjab in 2013.
