In a statement issued from the CM’s office, it was claimed that the Chief Minister canceled his visit and got the patient airlifted. Now the patient is taking health benefits. His condition is being told out of danger.

According to the information received, a person named Devendra was working on the roof of the house on Monday in Darwas village of Killad, Pangi. During this, he fell due to slipping of his foot and his throat was cut by the iron sheet outside the house. Devendra’s windpipe has been cut. After this, Devendra was admitted to Killar Hospital for treatment. However, seeing the seriousness of the patient, the doctors referred him to IGMC Shimla.

Road closed due to snow, so airlifted
Due to snowfall in the area, it was difficult to reach the patient to IGMC. In view of this, local MLA Dr. Janak Raj spoke to Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu on Tuesday. In view of the emergency, the Chief Minister directed the administration to airlift the patient by helicopter at the same time. Along with this, he also asked the hospital administration to provide all possible medical facilities to the patient.

Rapid improvement in patient’s condition
Chief Minister’s Political Advisor Sunil Sharma said that he is in constant touch with the doctors from the time the patient was airlifted till he was admitted to the hospital. Now the patient’s condition is improving rapidly.

Patient’s brother Pritam Lal expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister Sukhu for his human feelings. He said that if his brother was not airlifted in time, he could have died.
