There is news of relief for North India, which is hot due to heat. According to the Monsoon Department, the monsoon will reach the rain-craving parts, including Delhi, by July 10. Monsoon will reach Delhi late this time in the last 15 years.

According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon is likely to advance into Delhi around July 10 along with some more parts of West UP, Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan. Due to this there will be rain in the central and north west areas of the country.

Kuldeep Srivastava, head of IMD’s Regional Four Casting Center, told that earlier in 2012, the monsoon had reached Delhi on July 7 and 2006 on July 9. In 2002, Delhi received its first monsoon rains on July 19. Here in 1987, the late monsoon came on 26 July.

Light rain forecast in parts of Haryana and Delhi
The Meteorological Department has forecast light or moderate rain and thundershowers in parts of Haryana and Delhi on Monday. According to the department, rain may occur in South-West Delhi, Farukhnagar, Bhiwani, Charkhi-Dadri, Bhiwadi, Jhajjar (Haryana) and adjoining areas.

Delhi was the hottest in 9 years
The monsoon that came early in the country stopped before it completely covered the country. This increased the heat in many areas. In the capital Delhi, the mercury touched 43.5 degrees on July 1. For the first time in 9 years, the capital has been so hot in July. The mercury went up to 7 degrees above normal in the states of North India.

Where has the monsoon reached now?
Till June 30, the monsoon has spread across the country except in East Rajasthan, Delhi, Punjab and some parts of Chandigarh. However, the Monsoon line is stuck in Barmer, Bhilwara, Dholpur, Aligarh, Meerut, Ambala and Amritsar for two weeks. Usually by 8 July, the monsoon covers the whole country.

This time in monsoon break mode before filtering
The monsoon takes a break during the 4 months rainy season in the country. The different thing in this monsoon break is that the monsoon has already reached the break mode before covering the entire country. It often happens that by the end of July or the beginning of August, the monsoon takes a break after reaching the entire country, but this time the monsoon has gone on a break before it has covered the entire country.
