Clear Launches Clear Pro App for Tax Professionals: Here’s How to Use Clear Pro App

As the last date for filing income tax returns approaches, taxpayers India Naturally more concerned about filing your documents. This, along with the new tax rules, has made it difficult for businessmen to be late. To this end, fintech firm Clear, formerly ClearTax, has launched ClearPro app to help tax professionals communicate with clients, track and share filing status and do many other things under one umbrella. Clear Pro is the first mobile app for tax professionals to provide easy and timely compliance to the customers. Tax professionals primarily, till date, use communication platforms like WhatsApp and email to talk to customers, manually checking the status of each filing and invoice on various portals.

“With Clear Tax Pro’s client communication feature, tax professionals can send reminders to all clients to share data to file taxes in one click. This enables tax experts to send emails to all clients with a single click and a single- Enables one to initiate WhatsApp communication,” Clear said in a press release.

Clear’s new app will come in handy for tax professionals, especially this month when taxpayers need to file their income tax returns. The government has extended the last date for filing ITR till December 31.

“Clear Pro is the first app specially designed for tax experts. It aims to ensure timely compliance through communication, coordination and collaboration with clients,” said Archit Gupta, Founder and CEO, Clear.

Apart from communicating with customers, the app also lets tax experts check GST filing status and create, track and share invoices – all at once for multiple customers.

The app also helps tax professionals save money for their clients through an intelligent recommendation model, which suggests the right path to generate invoices. While generating the invoice, the app prompts whether the selected invoice creation option is efficient or not. If this is not the optimal method, the app shows how much money can be saved by selecting other options.

Here’s how you can use the Clear Pro app:

Step 1: Login to ClearPro using Clear credentials or Google credentials

Step 2: Add all your customers by scanning them through the “Scan to Add Customers” feature on the app

Step 3: Add email id and phone number to all your clients from the app or copy paste it by logging into ClearTax.in

Step 4: Send data request reminder to all your customers in one click from “Bulk Action → Send Reminder Tab”.

Step 5: Check the filing status of all customers in seconds with the app’s GST Filing Tracker feature

Step 6: Download and share GST report using CAPTCHA through GST Report feature of the app

Step 7: Create, check status and share invoices in bulk in a few clicks for multiple customers with the “Invoice Dashboard” feature of the app

Clear Pro also offers features like ‘News at a Glance’ and ‘Compliance Calendar’. Tax professionals can track all filing deadlines and extended due dates for GST, ITR and ROC directly from the app’s calendar.

Earlier this year, Clear also launched MaxITC to help enterprises manage input tax credit claims and ClearOne to digitize billing and e-invoicing. The SaaS company is tapping the pain points related to tax compliance with several products including its most popular GST filing platform ClearGST.
