This is how the controversy started

After the cabinet meeting, all the officers were sent. After this, Deputy CM Sukhjinder Randhawa said that he is being accused of posting SSP and DSP by taking money. For this, he asked Minister Rural Development and Panchayat Minister Tript Rajinder Bajwa, Bajwa said this was told to him by Technical Education and Employment Generation Minister Rana Gurjit. After this Randhawa and Rana turned face to face. Between the two of you, the situation of Tu-Main Mein has come. Both were pacified by CM Channi. After this, both of them left from there with angry attitude. Late in the night the CM tried to reconcile the two.

Razia also raised questions

Cabinet minister Razia Sultana also raised questions on the government. In fact, when the issue of imposing SSP with money arose, the CM said that after discussing with ministers, MLAs and local leaders, he is appointing SSP. He asked Minister Razia that SSP was imposed in Malerkotla only after asking him. Although Razia said yes to this, but asked who then asked the SSP to go to Captain Amarinder Singh. Hearing this, everyone became silent.

Debate on sacrilege and STF report

During this, Minister Rana Gurjit asked Randhawa, who is looking after the Home Department, why no action has been taken so far in the Bargadi sacrilege and drugs case. Why is the Special Task Force (STF) report on drugs not being made public?

clash over rally

After this, Rana Gurjit said that Congress MLA Navtej Cheema is not allowing his rally in Sultanpur Lodhi. The tents of the rally were uprooted. Deputy CM Randhawa did not take any action in this matter. On this, Randhawa said that the case has to be registered by the police, not the minister. Randhawa even said that Rana did not say anything against Captain Amarinder Singh.

Former DGP had leveled allegations against Captain Sarkar

Earlier, former DGP Muhammad Mustafa had alleged that during the time of Captain Sarkar, SSPs were posted with money. Mustafa is the husband of cabinet minister Razia Sultana. Mustafa had claimed that an officer had given 40 lakh rupees to a minister close to the captain in exchange for being appointed SSP. Mustafa had warned of a complaint if the money was not returned, but later he too fell silent.
