Captain America star Chris Evans’ time with his old iPhone 6s is over. The 41-year-old actor, who is known for his hilarious posts on social media, has once again flaunted his creative and witty personality in his latest post. He has now finally switched phones and with his latest set, he has posted a general eulogy for his iPhone6s. Sharing a picture of his new iPhone (the model he hasn’t revealed yet) and his old one, the actor penned a ‘miss you’ message for the home button of the iPhone6s. After the iPhone6s, the iPhone stopped making models with a home button. Only iPhone SE (second-generation) models were launched in 2020 with a home button, but that’s enough about iPhones.
Sharing the photo, Chris, who has been using the phone for several years, added a sentence to the caption and wrote: “RIP iPhone 6s. We had a good run. I will miss your home button.”
But the actors, of course, won’t miss out on the iPhone6s’ battery-draining problem as well as the camera quality. “I won’t miss the fight night of trying to charge you. Or your grainy photos. Or your sudden drops from 100% battery to 15%, completely dead within minutes,” he captioned further wrote and added: “It was a wild ride. Relax, mate.”
Concluding his post, Chris added a ROFL hashtag – #tilthewheelsfalloff
The actor’s post is rocking the internet and the comment section is proof of it. Responding to the news, actress Lizze Broadway commented: “Why does it bring me so much joy.” “No grainy photos,” wrote actress Kate Beckinsale in a comment.
Actress Octavia Spencer gleefully wrote: “OMG! I just gave up my home button last week. Transitioning to 13 is easier than I thought. So…. #IFeelYouBuddy.” Actress Yvette Nicole Brown couldn’t believe Chris was still using an iPhone6s. She commented, “Please tell me you still didn’t have 6?! How did this happen to you?!”
Chris’s latest post has proved one thing- he doesn’t change gadgets frequently and prefers to hold on to his old stuff.
Chris Evans, popular for playing Steve Rogers aka Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films, will next be seen in the Russo Brothers’ action thriller The Gray Man. She co-stars with Ryan Gosling, Dhanush, Ana de Armas and reggae-Jean Page in the film, which is set to premiere. Netflix on 15 July.
His last project was the Toy Story spin-off Buzz Lightyear, a Pixar animation film.
