Chirag challenged the decision of the Lok Sabha Speaker, through which Pashupati Kumar Paras was elected the leader of the Lok Janshakti Party’s parliamentary party.
In another tweet, the LJP MP has written that the right of the Prime Minister is fully respected, who does he include in his team and who does not, but as far as LJP is concerned, Paras is not a member of our party. In view of the tasks like breaking the party, if he is made a minister from his faction, then LJP has nothing to do with it.
He said that the Lok Janshakti Party had filed a petition before the Hon’ble Speaker of the Lok Sabha after the Speaker of Lok Sabha considered Pashupati Paras as the leader of the House among the MPs expelled from the party.
He further wrote that Pashupati Kumar Paras has already been expelled from the Lok Janshakti Party for betraying the party’s anti-party and top leadership and now the party strongly objected to his inclusion in the Union Cabinet.
Yesterday PM Modi was threatened
Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) leader Chirag Paswan directly challenged PM Narendra Modi on Tuesday. Chirag said in a press conference in Patna that if the expelled MP from LJP quota Pashupati Paras is included in the Union Cabinet, then I will go to the court. I am the national president, the party is also mine. I have support too. It is wrong to make any MP a minister from the party quota without my permission.
Chirag hoped that Modi would not do this
Chirag Paswan had also said – in the midst of controversy, if such an MP is made a minister, who has been expelled from the party, then it will be wrong. I don’t think PM Modi will do that. If this happens, I am ready to fight a political and legal battle. He also said that if uncle Pashupati Paras is to be made a minister, then make it by joining JDU, but not in the name of LJP.
I am ready to answer every challenge
On the question of break in LJP, Chirag said that by forming a separate faction, the uncle and the rebels have crushed the ideas of Ram Vilas Paswan. The National Executive has a total of 75 members. We have 66 members in this. We also have the affidavits of all. On this point, I can challenge both the Election Commission and the court. Uncle Pashupati Kumar Paras has no solid foundation.
There was a coup in the LJP on the night of June 13-14.
The discord in the LJP started on the evening of June 13. On June 14, except Chirag Paswan, the other five MPs had called a meeting of the Parliamentary Board. In this, Hajipur MP Pashupati Kumar Paras was elected as the new chairman of the parliamentary board. This information was also given to the Lok Sabha Speaker. By the evening of June 14, he had also got recognition from the Lok Sabha Secretariat. After this, Chirag Paswan called a meeting of the National Executive and recommended the removal of the five rebel MPs from LJP. Then on June 17, in a meeting of the Paras faction in Patna, he was elected the national president of the party.
