Imagine if something in which you have devoted your time and money gets destroyed in a matter of seconds, without any fault of yours. How would you feel? The answer is simple, you will either be sad or fume with anger. Something similar happened with a woman in China, and she may have reacted in an extreme manner. As per reports by the South China Morning Post, a woman farmer from China resorted to violence after her crops were destroyed by a luxury car. Reportedly, the woman smashed the car, a Mercedes-Benz, using a brick. The incident occurred on April 5 in Taikang county of the Henan province. The car’s driver, carrying the surname Zhang, ended up driving his car on a narrow road where the woman’s crops were and crushed some garlic seedlings at the edge, accidentally. According to him, he kept driving because he was unaware that he had destroyed the crops.
This prompted the woman to react with rage, as she immediately started chasing the car with her electric bike. The woman, who had the surname Liu, hurled curses at the driver, breaking the car’s wing mirror. She then picked up a brick and shattered the car’s door along with its windows and bonnet, as captured in the now-viral clip.
Zhang’s wife, who was sitting in the front seat said, “She just smashed our car, without telling us why she was angry with us.” They only discovered the reason behind her extreme reaction once they all went to the police station. When they returned to the scene, they found out that their vehicle was not the only one to crush her crops. Zhang’s wife added, “She vented all her rage on us, if she had told us we had destroyed her crops, we would have compensated her.”
She spoke further saying that now they would take the help of the law to solve the matter. They agreed to give her compensation for her crops, while mentioning that she had to compensate for the damaged car.
