Chinese hackers gathered intel from power grid near Ladakh: Report

The report said one of the load dispatch centers has previously been the target of another hacking group called RedEco, which “strongly overlaps” with a hacking group the US has linked to the Chinese government. “Prolonged targeting of Indian power grid assets provides opportunities for limited economic espionage or conventional intelligence gathering by Chinese state-linked groups,” Recorded Future Inc was quoted as saying in its report.
