The 17-year-old Miram Taron, who was kidnapped from the LAC, has been handed back to India by the Chinese army. Union Law Minister Kiren Rijiju gave this information on social media. Kiren Rijiju wrote, “Chinese PLA today handed over Miram Taron of Arunachal Pradesh to Indian Army at Wacha-Damai Interaction Point in Arunachal Pradesh. I wish to proceed with PLA carefully and bring our young boy back home safely.” I thank our proud Indian Army for this.”

what is the whole matter
Miram, a resident of Jindo village, and his friend were abducted by the Chinese army on January 18. Miram’s friend somehow escaped from the Chinese clutches and informed the Indian Army. The hand of China was being told behind the kidnapping. But China vehemently denied the allegations against them. However, on January 20, the Chinese army had acknowledged the presence of an unidentified minor and also confirmed that he was an Indian.

From where Miram was kidnapped, China had built a 4 km long road
No matter how much China gives the slogan of Hindi-Chini Bhai-Bhai, but China’s determination towards India has never been good. The Chinese army has always been infiltrating India. China never shied away from building roads in Indian territory, sometimes illegal construction and sometimes claiming the interior parts of the country as its own. From where Miram and his friends were kidnapped, China covered 4 km in 2018. A long road was built and from there the Tsangpo River enters India.

The Tsangpo River is known as the Siang in Arunachal Pradesh and the Brahmaputra River in Assam. Apart from this, China is also building a bridge over Ladakh’s famous Pangong So Lake, whose pictures were shown a few days ago through satellite images.

Congress leader took cognizance
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi had tried to surround the central government in the case of kidnapping of an Indian teenager by Chinese soldiers in Arunachal Pradesh. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi had tweeted, “Just a few days before Republic Day the Chinese kidnapped an Indian citizen, we are with the family of Miram Taran, and we will not give up and give up hope. But PM’s. The silence shows that it doesn’t matter to them.” Congress MLA Nanong Ering also brought this matter to the notice of the government and said that it is shocking that a teenager from my state has been kidnapped by the Chinese army.

In 2020 also kidnapped 5 youths
Earlier, a similar incident had happened in September 2020, when the PLA kidnapped five youths from Subansiri district of Arunachal Pradesh and released them almost a week later. According to information received from a report, Arunachal Pradesh has a 1,080 km long border with China. Apart from this, there is a 520 km long border with Myanmar and 217 km long border with Bhutan.
