China lifts 2-year COVID visa ban on Indians; Relief to trapped laborers

Beijing: China has announced plans to provide visas to Indian professionals working in various Chinese cities and their families who have been stuck at home for more than two years due to Beijing’s COVID-19 visa restrictions. Separately, China is also processing requests from thousands of Indian students studying in Chinese universities who have expressed their interest to rejoin their Chinese colleges and universities.
