According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded at 25.6 degrees Celsius, one above normal and the minimum temperature was recorded at 11.4 degrees Celsius, two above normal. The humidity level in the air was 54 to 95 percent in the last 24 hours. Due to this, people had to face trouble due to fog on the roads and airports in the morning. Throughout the day the game of hide and seek went on between the sun and the clouds. At the same time, the chills increased as the evening progressed.

The department has forecast that in the next 24 hours the maximum temperature can be recorded at 25 and the minimum temperature is 12 degree Celsius. By the end of the week, the mercury will drop continuously and the minimum temperature will reach 9 degree Celsius.
