Bihar’s ruling party JDU leader has appealed to CM Nitish Kumar to save him from his wife. Awadhesh Kumar, state general secretary of Ati Backward Cell, said, ‘Save me from my wife. Wife has nexus with Naxalites. At the behest of his wife, Naxalites come again and again and surround the house. Awadhesh Kumar had reached the CM residence on Tuesday to plead with the family, but he could not meet the Chief Minister. After that he cried there.

Relations with Naxalites since marriage

The JDU leader said, ‘The wife is troubling the entire family by colluding with the Naxalites. Naxalites beat up the whole family. The wife has also implicated in a false case. Awadhesh is a resident of Mekna village of Bahadurpur police station in Darbhanga district. He told, ‘I was married in 2006 in Pakpi village of Bahri police station. It was only after a few years of marriage that I came to know about his nexus with the Naxalites. Wife has contact with Naxalite leader Manoj Lal. She has come to his words and made a false case against me in 2012. There was a settlement in the court, but even after this Manoj Lal is troubling him.

He told, ‘Dadi passed away on January 22. The next day Manoj Lal arrived with around 50 Naxalites and surrounded my entire house. I informed the local police station and senior police officers, but no action was taken. Called the DGP the next day, he refused to meet, saying about Corona.

police don’t help

Kumar told, ‘Talked to Minister Madan Sahni, then talked to the SP, but to no avail. On the contrary, it was said that the police station did not take any action because it would have brought disrepute to him as to how such a large number of Naxalites had reached. On 7 May, the wife left the house with 50 thousand rupees and other items. This information was given to the police. Later Manoj Lal tried to implicate me and my brother by making a false case.

Awadhesh Kumar says that even before this he has appealed to the Chief Minister’s Secretariat at many places, but no action has been taken so far. In such a situation, justice is expected from the Chief Minister only.
