Chhattisgarh News: A girl allegedly committed suicide after failing in her Class 12 examination in Chhattisgarh’s Durg city today (May 12), police said. The results of the Class 12 examination of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) were declared on Wednesday.
Additional Superintendent of Police Sanjay Dhruv said that Upasana Verma, a resident of Malviya Nagar, was found hanging from the ceiling fan in her room. He said Verma, a student of a private school affiliated to CBSE in Bhilai city, had failed in three subjects and was apparently very upset.
A report of accidental death has been registered and further investigation is on, he said.
