CheQ Digital says that starting Tuesday, users will be able to download the CheQ app (available on Android and iOS) and join the waiting list.

Bengaluru-based fintech startup CheQ Digital has announced the public launch of its flagship check app after a successful beta campaign that saw transactions worth Rs 60 crore in 30 days.

“Starting Tuesday, users will be able to download the CheQ app (available on Android and iOS) and join the waiting list. Once on the waiting list, they can unlock Early Access by referring up to two more users to the app. To encourage early adopters, the company is offering 100 CheQ chips as a signup bonus and an additional 100 chips on every successful referral,” the company said in a statement.

CheQ Chips is the app’s in-app currency that is received as a reward for every payment on CheQ. These can be redeemed for vouchers from top-40 brands in the country or can be converted into cash and taken to the bank. CheQ said over 16,000 vouchers were redeemed by users in the beta period, with Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Swiggy and Zomato being the most popular.

Aditya Soni, Founder and CEO of Check, said, “We are thrilled with the results of our beta program, with over 7,000 active users performing over 45,000 transactions in a short span of time. This success surpasses our original goal of onboarding 500 users. and acts as a huge confidence booster for us. With the launch of our waitlist, we are taking our first step towards making CheQ the best credit repayment platform in India.”

The company raised $10 million in a seed round in July 2022 that saw participation from marquee investors such as 3one4 Capital, Venture Highway, Multiply Ventures, Mars Shot Ventures and Veda VC.
