The Charging Bull has been an iconic image for Mumbaikars, while the ‘Aam Aadmi’ created by renowned cartoonist RK Laxman symbolizes the hopes and aspirations of a common man.

Statues of the iconic ‘Charging Bull’, BSE Gong and ‘Common Man’ were unveiled at the traffic island of Horniman Circle by Shri Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Minister of Tourism, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and Women and Child Development, Government of Maharashtra. Mister. SS Mundra – Chairman BSE and Sh. Sundararaman Ramamurthy, MD-CEO, BSE participated in the event. Mrs. Ashwini Bhide, AMC, BMC and Shri Ashish Sharma, AMC, BMC graced the occasion.

The ‘Charging Bull’ is an iconic symbol of our markets, a symbol of prosperity in our tradition and also a symbol of financial optimism and the statue of the bull at this prominent position indicates the accessibility of financial prosperity to common investors. The cartoon character ‘Aam Aadmi’ created by renowned cartoonist RK Laxman symbolizes the hopes and aspirations of a common man.
