Amid growing outrage over his bhaija jibe, Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi has issued a clarification, stating his statement has been misconstrued.
“My statement is being distorted. All the migrants who have come to Punjab have put their sweat and blood into the development of the state,” Charanjit Singh Channi said. “I have a close relationship with them [migrants]he said.
Charanjit Singh Channi said he was referring to AAP leaders and not the migrants who work in Punjab while making ‘UP, Bihar ke bhaiya’ comment.
