Dare yourself to revisit the written history of India! Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is all set to launch Chandrayaan-3 on 14th July. The flight is expected to take off from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh at 2.35 pm. If India’s second attempt to land a spacecraft on the Moon is successful, it could become the fourth country to land on the Moon. While the entire nation is wishing and praying for the success of the mission, Bollywood celebrities are also wishing it a grand success. Actors including Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Anupam Kher wished ISRO scientists all the best for the mission.
Akshay Kumar shared old tweet
To celebrate the occasion, Akshay Kumar pulled out an old tweet from the time of Chandrayaan 2. Sharing his old tweet, Akshay Kumar wrote, “And the time has come to rise! Best wishes to all our scientists at @isro for Chandrayaan 3. Millions of hearts are praying for you.” The actor had tweeted in 2019, “There is no science without experimenting… Sometimes we succeed, sometimes we learn. Hats off to the brilliant minds of @isro, we are proud and confident that Chandrayaan 2 will soon make way for Chandrayaan 3. We will rise again.”

Interestingly, Akshay Kumar’s film Mission Mangal was released in 2019. Based on India’s first Mars Orbiter Mission, the film did well at the box office. While Akshay was seen as a mission director in the film, Vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha, Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari and Sharman Joshi were also seen in pivotal roles.

Suniel Shetty also extended his best wishes for the “celestial” success of ISRO. He tweeted, “The excitement level is reaching the moon! Apart from Suniel Shetty and Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh also wished success to the moon mission. Ritesh shared a picture of himself on his Twitter account and said that he is excited about the launch and wished the team all the best.

About Chandrayaan-3
The Chandrayaan-3 mission aims to reach the Moon’s orbit and perform a soft landing on the Moon’s surface through the lander. It also plans to have the rover come out of the lander and study the lunar surface. Earlier in 2019, some problems were reported during the last stage of Chandrayaan-2, due to which both the lander and the rover crashed on the lunar surface.
